After trolling through Wickedfire at 5.37am (due to a heavy dosage of jet lag) I came across this amazingly creative ad on Youtube.
You know how bloggers a.k.a This Guy tend to post crappy videos that you can’t be bothered watching? Yeah, you know…the kind of video posts that give you that “meh” reaction. You have better things to do than spending 2.12 mins watching the video, so you scroll down to the comments to read the reactions? You know those kind of videos?
WELL THIS IS NOT ONE OF THOSE! Watch it or death!
Pretty swanky ha? Props to Desperados.
I gotta get some sleep, it’s 6.10 am. Good night!
P.S. If you’re still feeling peckish, here is another crafty interactive Youtube video I’ve posted.
P.S.S. Holla if you know of any other great videos like these, please!
P.S.S.S. Ok, time to count sheep.

Love these kind of YouTube videos.
Damn that's pretty sweet..I thought the first one you posted awhile back was interactive but that's on a whole new level.
Definitely an awesome video. Makes me jealous of advertising guys that get to come up with cool ideas like this and all they care about is branding, not direct response.
That was an awesome video! How many million do you think that cost?
Haha millions? I dunno. But you probably could get something similar done at freelancer.com for $50, those data entry guys are talented
Oh I meant for the ad placement.. but yeah $50 goes a long way with them
This is just a guess, but I don't think it would be too expensive.
It is only on the depserados Youtube page. Normally you would have a title banner for page there instead which would be a 5th of the size. I even wonder if they had to pay for it or if they just asked for permission to do something like that.
Just guessing…I could be completely wrong.
I know the homepage banners on YouTube are a flat Cost Per Day, and it's in the tens of thousands. Not sure about the Sponsored Videos though, I'm sure those are much less.
I did not know this kind of interaction was possible on youtube. How is it done?
It's a flash animation. That space is not part of Youtube you can see the file here http://desperados.cdn.waycom.net/media/trimaran/d…
Haha that was a great vid. I'm pretty sure this increases the brand awareness of the beer a lot since the user interacts with the video.
I've seen something like this before, except it was for a show. Don't remember which one, though. But I'm pretty sure they're paying for it because I saw it in the sponsored section of youtube when I went there.
That is just an image/animation that is inserted on a Youtube page.
