Got to your site via a recommendation by Jonathan Matthey at a seminar.

The CPA net quality complaint mentioned earlier is worrisome.

U.S. PBS TV has been playing a program "ADD and loving it" one guy mentioned his impatience with slow traffic, when the only near exit was at a car dealer, he ended up buying a car while waiting for traffic to clear up.

Whoo boy, DirectCPV was always screwy but in the last week it has gone off the rails. Thousands of phantom clicks, expensive and mysterious spikes in traffic, and truly insane bid price – hundreds or thousands of dollars "bid" for some clicks, I am not kidding – better watch out if you blithely press "make my id highest" and see your budget disappear in one click.

DirectCPV is out of control. You can't trust that you're getting what you've paid for.

I'll vouch for the fact that they are complete garbage.

Their user interface is trash, there bids are out of wack, the way they deliver ads is retarded, they have mostly newbs driving up bids all the time, the owners steal your ads, I could go all day.

Lorenzo, are you still working with DirectCPV? It seems they no longer exclusively serve interstitials — indeed, they no longer exclusively serve one style of ad.

Directly from the horse's mouth: "We work with many large publishers and they are the ones that will be displaying your ads. Some of your ads will be displayed as pop over, pop under or full interstitial. This depends on which publisher is displaying your ads."

Obviously, the value of the platform is diminished enormously when your ad can appear one of three different ways to the end user and you have no way of knowing which way it will appear.

If this is true, I would guess they're now sharing traffic with other platforms that display ads differently. It may help their revenues short term to be able to display more pops, but I can't imagine it'll do much for their long-term revenues when advertisers can no longer optimize for a specific display scenario.

Can anyone still vouch for DirectCPV?

Thanks for the post Mr Green. Stumbled upon this bad boy of a site (mrgreen.am) a month a so or go and its fascinating stuff. Deposited some loot into directcpv off the back of this informative overview. Let battle commence!
