style="text-align: center;">
For those of you who haven’t read “Four Hour Work Week”, do it. You won’t regret it. For those of you who have, you know what I’m about to talk about. For those of you who are too lazy to read it, this post is for you!

Disclaimer: This is for affiliates who want to free up their time whilst increasing work productivity. If you are happy working the hours you’re doing at the moment then congrats for you!

Affiliate marketing is certainly tough on the mind. Especially if you are at the stage where you are working away at home parked up in a little dark room by yourself. From my experience you get lost in your own little world and work becomes one massive glob in your life. There is no start or finish. There are no weekends. There is no night or day. That is one of the nasty little traps of affiliate marketing.

First things first stop being pretending to be “busy”.

Busy means:

Checking stats more than twice a day.

Idle chit-chat with affiliate managers.

Reading forums, news sites, and blogs (That includes this blog. If I see your ip on this blog during work hours I will hunt you down and give you a paper cut on the webbing closest to your big toe.).

Trying new campaigns ’cause you are bored of scaling campaigns that you already know work.

Aimlessly researching websites for new campaign ideas when you already has a list of work to do.

Doing anything that is semi-relevant to your campaigns but not directly making you money.

The plan for productivity:

Pick out hours of the day during which you are going to work. Don’t just say to yourself “I am going to do work today”. I work from about 9.30am – 2pm. Anything more than that and I just slack off and pretend to be busy.

Pick the time of day to work in that is best for you to keep up your productivity levels. Whether you work for 2hrs/day or 10hrs/day keep asking yourself if what you are doing is going to directly make you money.

I cut down to 4hrs from previously “working” 10hrs a day on and off. Guess what time frame made me get the most work done? 4hrs.

We’ve all had deadlines for projects and reports that we needed to complete two weeks earlier but left until the last night. It’s likely that you ended up getting that project/report done in 5-8hrs the night before instead of using the two weeks.

Having deadlines is key. Write a prioritized list for the day. If you think it will take you 8hrs, give yourself a 4hr deadline.

DO IT!

P.S If it’s in your budget to get office space, get out of your house. There are way too many distractions there.

P.P.S DO IT!
<div
