Firstly Id like to thank all who voted in the case study poll. That does not, however, take away the fact that I despise 35% of you who voted for The Snuggie for Dogs.
Over the next couple of weeks The Snuggie for Dogs, AKMG and I will be a close-knit team. I’m going to spend a max of $500 on this case study. I will spread it across PPC, PPV and banner placements.
I’ve been hunting around Alexa, Quantcast, Compete, DoubleClick Ad Planner and asked affiliate managers for feedback on demographics. Here is what I came up with.
- - Women
- - 50+
- - No children
- - Caucasian
- - Lower education
- - Middle income
I will contact the advertiser for final demographic details.
My street payout is $10.50 per sale. I know this is stretching the rules here but I have been thinking of using the Snuggie for People (freaks) as an upsell. This would increase my payout to $26.50. I mean I could actually go crazy here because there is even Snuggies kids too.
Time to get my hands dirty and starting testing this puppy!

Haha no I have to stick with the Snuggie for dogs as the main offer. Hopefully the human Snuggies upsell will tilt the profitability scale.
